Innovate2Succeed launch promotes SME innovation and growth

Innovate2Succeed is a fully-funded, one-to-one, tailored support programme that provides bespoke specialist support to SMEs striving to generate and commercialise business innovations.

Harnessing innovation to create value, the training programme launched by coaching and training suppliers, Oxford Innovation Services (OIS), is designed for SMEs seeking to build innovation in their business through processes, cultures and products.

Collaborating with Enterprise M3 (em3) Growth Hub, Innovate2Succeed aims to help Hampshire and Surrey businesses make better decisions with confidence through enabling them to assess and analyse their business, develop and implement innovative processes, and consider their next steps to further innovation.

By adopting a tailored and adaptable approach, Innovate2Succeed’s specialists help businesses to understand their specific marketplace, plan for growth, harness ideas, manage the innovation process and develop an innovation culture.

Launched in May 2016, qualifying businesses in the Enterprise M3 LEP area will receive full access to GROWTHmapper®, an in-depth diagnostic tool created and developed by OIS. The complementary collection of coaching tools helps businesses achieve their ambitions, through comprehensively assessing innovation management capabilities, challenges and opportunities.

Together, Innovate2Succeed and GROWTHmapper® combine managerial and team insight with practical knowledge to provide businesses with a specialist innovation advisor that designs and delivers a bespoke package of support.

Innovate2Succeed is supported by:

  • The European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), which provide support for SMEs to help them innovate and grow, and
  • Innovate UK, the UK’s innovation agency, which works with companies to de-risk, enable and support innovation.

“Innovate2Succeed gives businesses the opportunity to innovate their processes, cultures and products to enable them to reach their goals and objectives,” says Elaine Kearney, Innovation Advisor and Team Leader, Innovate2Succeed.
