Innovate2Succeed to exhibit at EM3 LEP annual conference

Innovate2Succeed (i2s), the training programme managed by coaching and training providers Oxford Innovation Services (OIS), will be exhibiting at EM3 LEP annual conference on Wednesday 16 November 2016 at Norton Park Hotel, near Winchester, Hampshire.

i2s will meet with SMEs in the Hampshire and Surrey areas to feature its fully-funded, one-to-one, tailored support programme at the all-day Enterprise M3 Annual Conference 2016, taking place from 9am-4.30pm.

The theme of this year’s event, ‘Unlocking & Connecting Talent in the Digital Age’, will focus on how businesses can seize opportunities, generate innovation and commercialise success through digital channels.

i2s will complement the theme by focusing on how SMEs can best incorporate innovative processes, cultures and/or products into the business that help with day-to-day operations and towards future growth plans.

The Digital Technologies Report, published at the 2015 Annual Conference, stated that the Enterprise M3 area is one of the most productive and fastest growing digital economies in the UK, contributing to 7.4% of jobs.

However, 23% of SMEs lack basic digital skills and so, the EM3 LEP area is encouraging businesses to innovate process and systems to maximise appeal and effectiveness in the digital age.

i2s is delivered in collaboration with the Enterprise M3 (em3) Growth Hub and funded by:

  • The European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), which provide support for SMEs to help them innovate and grow, and
  • Innovate UK, the UK’s innovation agency, which works with companies to de-risk, enable and support innovation.

“Increasingly, SMEs are needing to incorporate innovative digital processes into their day-to-day operations as a way of communicating with, and appealing to their customers,” said Elaine Kearney, Innovation Advisor and Team Leader, i2s.

“Often, businesses need to first look at their processes, cultures and current position in the market before embarking on implementing these digital processes.”

Meet with i2s at its stand at the EM3 LEP annual conference on 16 November 2016. i2s’s Innovation Advisor and Team Leader, Elaine Kearney, will be present at the exhibition stand.
