Rhona helps high growth potential businesses in the South West of England to develop their leadership and management capability to ensure they achieve the very best from their people and processes.
Rhona works closely with our Growth Managers to help them diagnose the Leadership and Management skills needs of business leaders and their senior management teams. She also helps them to identify potential solutions. She has expertise in the types of skills development activity that might best address gaps that have been identified, and of what training providers are able to offer locally to your business, helping you find the most successful solutions to your Leadership and Management development needs. Rhona seeks to evaluate the impact of the leadership and management development that our clients engage in, to enable programmes to constantly evolve along with the ever changing needs of local businesses operating at the forefront of innovation.
Rhona started work at Oxford Innovation in May 2012, specifically to provide support to our team of Growth Managers across the South West region to enhance the quality and availability of leadership development training and qualifications, and to ensure that these are commensurate with the needs of the fastest growing and most innovative of businesses across the South.
Prior to joining Oxford Innovation, Rhona was a Leadership Specialist Adviser with Skills South East and helped business of all shapes and sizes address their leadership and management development needs, contributing to the enhancement of individual performance and supporting her clients to achieve their growth ambitions. Rhona has over 15 years of experience as a leader and manager of adviser teams engaged in this and similar roles. She has also worked as an adviser to small and medium sized businesses on variety of business support programmes, including Investors in People, Business Link’s Skills Advisory Service, Train to Gain, and Apprenticeships to name but a few.
Rhona has a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from The University of Reading. She also has a post-graduate certificate in Personnel and Development gained at Plymouth University, a Level 5 qualification in Management and an Institute of Leadership and Management Level 7 qualification in Leadership Coaching and Executive Mentoring. She is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and a Neuro Linguistic Programming master practitioner and coach.
