Global Business Innovation Visit to China – focus on the Agri-tech

To help businesses working in the Agri-Tech sector to identify partners for international collaboration.

Global Business Innovation Programme (GBIP) innovation mission to China for businesses in the Agri-Tech sector, taking place 9-16 March 2019.

The visit objective is to help businesses working in the Agri-Tech sector to identify partners for international collaboration.  It will also give businesses an opportunity to discuss project ideas with leading research and commercial partners, build consortia and scope out proposals for future Agri-Tech bilateral funding calls.

We are looking for interested businesses that work in the following technology sectors:

Solutions that include sensors, robotics, systems, autonomous vehicles and data driven solutions and which focus on:

  • Improving productivity of farmed livestock – including aquaculture, animal welfare, nutrition and health.
  • Improving productivity in protected environment and high value crops.
  • Food safety – Optimising the use of pesticides and fertilisers – solutions to maximise sustainable production.
  • Optimising yields and quality.

Visit dates: Saturday 9th -Saturday 16th March 2019
Closing date for full application: Sunday 27th January 2019 17:00hrs
