Lynda is a Commercial Director with over thirty years’ experience of product development, buying and supply chain. Formally trained as a retail buyer and product developer at Marks & Spencer, she is passionate about in-depth product and customer knowledge, developing high-quality ‘own brand’ commercial products and getting them from concept through to market.

She has extensive experience in supply chain management of multi-product for small, start-up and large corporates, as well as buying, sourcing and managing UK and International supplier operations and teams, with responsibility for up to £50m budgets.  Being on ‘both sides of the fence’ as a buyer and as a supplier, she has gained a deep understanding of the complexities and challenges faced by both parties and has implemented strategies and processes to overcome and improve them.

Lynda worked as a Consultant to Seasalt Cornwall for 18 months to support their ambitious growth plans, before moving to Cornwall in 2013 to join the Executive Board as Buying Director.

She has since worked with over 300 SMEs in Cornwall as a Business Coach and Consultant, with a particular focus on supporting businesses through stages from strategic planning, development of vision, mission and values, developing product and branding and defining the customer journey.
