Martin is passionate about supporting innovative SMEs to achieve their growth goals with specialisms around developing skills and access to finance. As Programme Director, he leads the Innovation and Global Growth team who deliver a range of specialist coaching services on behalf of Innovate UK.

Martin has a strong business support and programme management background. He joined Oxford Innovation in 2017 to run the Berkshire Growth Hub contract including responsibility for the ScaleUp Berkshire programme, EU Transition and Covid19 business support contracts.

Martin is keen to simplify the business support landscape so that SMEs can focus on developing and commercialising their ideas with the benefit of no-nonsense practical support that delivers real bottom line benefit.

Following successful exit from his London based property business, Martin joined Business Link and coached a wide range of start up and growth businesses across the Thames Valley. After university, his early career was spent in a range of marketing roles, including working for the Innovations Group that developed one of the first e-commerce platforms back in 1995.

Our Innovation Centres remain operational and accessible, and provide a safe environment for our staff and customers. We continue to assess the risk of COVID-19 alongside the latest guidance from government. In the meantime our Innovation Centre remains COVID-19 Secure and fully open for business.
